Soon, our packaging puzzle will finally click into place — without driving us completely crazy. Thanks Ramon, for your patience, and for absorbing our frustrations.

📱Schedule: We will publish the September schedule no later than August 25. We understand that many of you don’t know your school schedule yet, so we’re taking that into account. We assume that everyone will still work the agreed number of days, but not necessarily on the usual days.
🍕 PIZZA- Night: We’ll be hosting a pizza night sometime at the end of August/beginning of September! – to celebrate that we all survived the summer holidays! 🍕🎉 It might also be the perfect moment to say goodbye to the lovely colleagues who will be leaving us 💛

🥖Cheesstraws: Since we don’t have another baker on hand, we (and Kamiel) quickly retrained Danny (see picture), and he’ll be doing the baking for now. He’s a fast learner, but as you may have noticed, his cheese twists don’t (yet!) have that touch of years of experience.
🌞 Wheather and sales: With the gorgeous weather we’ve had this past month, we’ve been selling loads of salads! The number of customers and soup sales have dipped a bit because of the warm weather — but let’s keep those delicious salads going strong!
👍 Catering: Did you know that Wendy is working hard to grow our catering branch? We’re now baking our own focaccia in the kitchen, along with spreads and toppings to go with it! Every new beginning starts with yourself, so Wendy is happily spreading away over here!
📢 General Meeting: We had a really great general circle meeting last Thursday — and everyone was there, which was really special! Even our new kitchen manager Robbie joined! It’s always so good to catch up and update each other.

🎉 Soup Turned 24: On 17th April, our soupenzo turned 24! What an incredible journey it has been; full of delicious soups, challenges, and adaptability 💪 As we approach 25th next year, we will continue to strive for high-quality products and consistent service.
🥗 Salad Success: In the month of May, we sold almost 1700 kgs of salad, marking an all-time high! Well done, team! Keep that salad bar appealing with full choices and let's continue to break records.
🏠 Highest HS Turnover: Despite the challenges, our newest location, Haarlemmer, achieved its highest turnover last week. Slowly but surely!
🧗♀️ Team Event: It has been a while since our last team event. Furthermore, to help our new colleagues meet the bigger family, we are planning a bouldering event in mid-July. We will announce the date and time in the group chat soon. Get ready to climb!

Guess what! I am back with some exciting news for you.
👋 Warm Welcomes: Let's extend a hearty welcome to our newest team members: Maya and Carmen! We hope you are settling in well.
🍲 Menu Makeover: Big news! After a decade of daily changes, we are introducing a weekly fixed menu for our soups and salads. Starting in two weeks, we will offer same menu from Monday to Sunday, switching up to 5 soup options and 1-2 salad choices in the following week. With this change, we aim to maintain a great menu and availability at all times.
🏠 Home Delivery: Soon, we will embrace the world of home delivery with Uber Eats and Thuisbezorgd bringing soupenzo's flavors to doorsteps far and wide. Once we have the fixed menu under control we will start the collaboration.
🚫 Kitchen closed on Saturday: Starting from last weekend, the kitchen will remain closed every Saturday. Friday will be the day to stock up for the weekend, ensuring we are all prepped and ready to serve.
🚧 Construction at Spiegel: Just one more week to go, and the road construction at our Spiegel location will be complete, leaving us with a smoother, better road right at our doorstep!
We bid adieu to our cherished Snert soup for the season this past weekend. I hope you savored that final spoonful!

A heartfelt shoutout to Danielle, Quirijn, and Zinzi who tackled the pressure like champs. Though we aim never to run out again, it was indeed a sign of success! 🏆

What a sparkling day we had this Monday! 🔥Our registers rang marking one of our most successful days in recent times across all shops. A massive shoutout to every soupy soul who poured their heart into making this magic happen!
Autumn has gracefully swung open its doors, and guess what? It's officially our favourite time - the soup season! 🍲

Old Soup, New Bowl: Our beloved soupies Simone and Danielle are adding new flavours to Soupenzo. While Simone paints magic on the Haarlemmer window glass, Danielle's turning up the heat in the kitchen. Can't wait to see and taste their contributions!
